Course leaders:   The courses are run by workshop facilitator and artist Jonathan Middlemiss, B.A., M.I.A.C., working with other highly experienced partners specialized in their particular field or service.  These are detailed with the particular course/event. 

Jonathan's career as a fine ceramicist, painter and land artist is extensive and widely represented through exhibitions and collections internationally. He is passionate about teaching and learning creatively with nature and how this offers deeper foundations for life. His experience in teaching and workshop facilitation includes:

  • Twelve years as a university lecturer to graduate level including project presentation and assessment

  • Adult education, including painting and pottery for adults with physical and sensory disability

  • Projects in primary and secondary schools with Arts Council initiatives

  • Projects in schools for special educational needs, profound disability and autism

  • Holiday courses and summer schools for all abilities, including  complete beginners

  • Evening, week-end and weekly events & demonstrations

  • Personal and professional creative development
